The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) may implement Manual Load Dropping (MLD) today, March 27, 2022 starting 6:00PM in the franchise areas of NONECO.

6:00 PM – 3.7 MW
7:00 PM – 9.3 MW
8:00 PM – 5.2 MW
9:00 PM – 3.0 MW

As per NGCP attached letter, this is a contingency measure to prevent the overloading of the 138 kv Samboan-Amlan line 2, Emergency shutdown of PCPC, and planned outage of PEDC U1 & PGPP1 U1

MLD is projected to last until 9:00 PM or earlier. Schedule may be cancelled if system condition improves.
