NONECO Announces March 2026 Rate Adjustment Amid Rising WESM Costs
Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NONECO) informs its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) of the electricity rate for the March 2026 billing cycle. The effective rate is ₱13.1731/kWh.

Market Factors
The adjustment is primarily attributed to the rise in prices within the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM). These are pass-through charges that the cooperative pays to power suppliers and generators.

The NONECO Share
Only 12.23% (₱1.6109/kWh) of the total rate is retained by NONECO for its Distribution, Supply, and Metering (DSM) charges. These charges have remained unchanged since February 2010, supporting the maintenance and daily operations of the cooperative.
Consumer Advisory
MCOs are advised to focus on actual kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumption. Total bills vary based on Pass-Through Charges beyond the cooperative's control. Energy conservation is key to managing monthly costs.
