The Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NONECO) funded by Association of Philippine Electric Cooperatives (APEC) Party List through the initiative of APEC Congressman Sergio G. Dago-oc launched a Free Scholarship Training Program to NONECO’s member-consumer-owners .

The said program aims to extend financial assistance to marginalized but deserving students to acquire technical course in ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE NCII in coordination with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) . This program caters a total of 26 beneficiaries whom are the children, and immediate family members of NONECO Member-Consumer-Owners.
Orientation started last December following safety procedures amidst pandemic, and virtual classes are now conducted.
NONECO and APEC aims to contribute to the development of these student-learners to become competent skilled workforce in the power industry.
